School cannot decide, before September, which afternoon
children will have off

This is unacceptable for me and many other parents. This means that children who need to register in places like Conservatoire de musique in June this year will now be in a disadvantage since none is capable of telling us what the school planning is going to be. Most of these children will no longer be able to follow music or dance or other courses. As you may probably know getting registered in Conservatoire of Music of Luxembourg is a hectic affair and this Director of school is not helping the parents one bit by making this kind of decisions.

I, as a member of APEEE committee, will at least push as much as I can to force the school to give us a better planning so that at least children could get a chance in those classes.

This is another way the staff are being discriminated against. Now, we have discrimination against learning and education of children due to mismanagement of the school!

This was an arbitrary decision by the Director of the Lux.1 school, contrary to the declared position of parents in the meeting and on separate occasions. It remains unclear what advantage the school hopes to gain from the change. But it is already clear that children will suffer. It is already hard enough to integrate as an expatriate in Luxembourg. The school cannot provide adequate facilities for sport, or advanced training in music, etc. and these already exist outside. But the proposed change to the timetable will make it even harder to access them…

Hardly a step forward!
